AML/KYC Analyst

We're looking for an AML/KYC Analyst to join Noda — our Open Banking payments platform, licensed in the UK as a Payment Institution and is currently in the process to receive 2 additional EU licenses.

Noda is a FinTech company with a solution that enables direct payments from our merchants (clients) customers to the merchants' bank accounts (Instant SEPA Payments).

Our service is suitable for a wide range of online businesses in the UK and EU, and in 2023 we are planning to enter markets of Canada, the USA, and Australia. 

Responsibilities:

- Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on the merchants according to internal policies and procedures

- Analyze, interpret and evaluate the documents submitted by the merchant

- Perform Sanction/Adverse Media Screening

- Perform AML Risk Assessment

- Monitor and respond to significant changes in the merchant's details, documents, turnovers, transactions, etc.

- Update documents/information (if required) regarding merchant data/information

- Recommend changes to ensure accuracy and efficiency of Onboarding processes

- Work closely with Sales, Compliance Officer, Risk and other internal teams

- Report directly to Chief Compliance Officer, MLRO

Requirements:

- 1-3 years of experience in Customer Due Diligence (CDD) process (KYC, EDD)
- experience in e-commerce
- experience with Merchant Onboarding — corporate customers
- experience in FinTech or Payment Services Providers companies (PSP, PI, EMI, MSB, VASP)
- experience of different types of e-commerce business models
- understanding of AML/Compliance regulatory requirements
- experience with Sanction/PEP/Adverse Media Screening system (any sanction system)
- Russian and English (B2+) 

Nice to have skills:

- Experience with Webshield
- Experience with Comply Advantage or any other Sanction screening system
- Experience in FinTech or in Payment Services Providers companies
