Deputy Chief Accountant (Malta)
Now we’re looking for a Deputy Chief Accountant to join our finance team in Malta!
Responsibilities:
- Accounting of fixed assets and intangible assets
- Keeping records of companies in Cyprus, Georgia, Armenia, UAE, Mauritius, and Thailand
- Preparation, entry, verification, archiving, and submission of the primary documents of the companies to the auditors — monthly
- Preparation and submission of internal management reports — monthly
- Control of the month closing in the ERP system, checking TB and GL
- Optimization, automation of accounting and tax accounting in 1C, possibly in other ERP systems
- Communication with external auditing companies from different countries
- Communications with directors/responsible persons of companies from different countries
- Full accounting and tax accounting for the companies (with the help of external auditors)
- Preparation and submission of tax and accounting reports for the companies in different jurisdictions (with the help of external auditors)
- Control over deadlines for submitting reports
- Carrying out the Chief Accountant's instructions
Requirements:
- 3+ years of work experience as a Deputy Chief Accountant or a Chief Accountant in medium and large companies
- Excel — Advanced
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Ability to draw up a balance sheet and understand the meaning of each figure
- English, Russian — Upper-intermediate (B2)
- Knowledge of 1C (nice to have)
