Deputy Chief Accountant (Malta)

Now we’re looking for a Deputy Chief Accountant to join our finance team in Malta

Responsibilities:

- Accounting of fixed assets and intangible assets
Keeping records of companies in Cyprus, Georgia, Armenia, UAE, Mauritiusand Thailand
Preparation, entry, verification, archiving, and submission of the primary documents of the companies to the auditors — monthly
-  Preparation and submission of internal management reports — monthly
- Control of the month closing in the ERP system, checking TB and GL
- Optimization, automation of accounting and tax accounting in 1C, possibly in other ERP systems
- Communication with external auditing companies from different countries
- Communications with directors/responsible persons of companies from different countries
- Full accounting and tax accounting for the companies (with the help of external auditors)
- Preparation and submission of tax and accounting reports for the companies in different jurisdictions (with the help of external auditors)
- Control over deadlines for submitting reports
- Carrying out the Chief Accountant's instructions 

Requirements:

3+ years of work experience as a Deputy Chief Accountant or a Chief Accountant in medium and large companies
- Excel — Advanced 
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Ability to draw up a balance sheet and understand the meaning of each figure
- English, Russian — Upper-intermediate (B2)
- Knowledge of 1C (nice to have)
